Where skiing lessons take place ? Tignes le lac or Val Claret ?
We offer « a la carte » meeting place for private lessons from Tignes Le Lac or Tignes Val Claret as well as from Tignes Le Lavachet, Tignes 1850 and Tignes les Brevieres. In fact, it is you who decide where you want to be picked up at the beginning of the ski lesson and you can also decide where you want your instructor to leave you at the end of your lesson, accommodation, store, restaurant, bar, it’s up to you!
Can I take snowboard lessons in Tignes ?

One hour of private ski lessons in Tignes costs 55 euros. This price is valid for one person and whatever time slot you choose.
What is the difference between Snocool and the other ski school in tignes ?
At Snocool, ski school group lessons are limited to a maximum of 6 children per instructor / group, while at the other ski school there are often 10 to 12 children per group. The medals at the end of the week are free while they are paid with some of the other companies.

What are the group lessons hours for kids ?
For children’s ski school we offer two slots. In the morning from 9:00 to 11:45 and in the afternoon from 14:15 to 17:00. Be aware, outside of the school holidays, the morning group classes start at 9:15 am and end at noon.
How to be sure that we will ski with people of our level ?
Snocool does not offer group ski lessons for adults. However, one can still ask the question of the homogeneity of the ski levels when one ski with family or between friends. The solution of the private lesson is interesting because a ski instructor is able to work out several people of different ski abilities in the same group (only possible when the gap is not too important at the start). At the time of booking you must detail the level and expectations of each one so that we can organize the best “ski sharing” moment for your party…
Do you offer private lessons for adults ?
Snocool offers private lessons for adults. By booking a private lesson in Tignes, you are sure to be able to choose the meeting point with your instructor, the length of the course, the course schedule and where you want your instructor to leave you at the end of the course. At Snocool we are proud to offer the most flexible solution to make your private lessons an experience to your measure.
Do you allowed heliskiing in Tignes ?
When we talk about heliskiing we imagine a helicopter dropping skiers on top of a mountain. Because of the proximity of Tignes with the Italian peaks, we organize heliskiing outings including a trip to the border either by way of the road and the ski resort of La Rosière or by taking a helicopter to Italy. Once we’ve reached the St. Bernardo’s pass, you can enjoy heliskiing with a large H. We offer several programs including 2 or 3 drops or more in the day.
Alternatively, directly from Tignes ski area, we also organize helicopter picks up. e.g. it is possible to ski to the Chevril lake’s shore and get picked up by an helicopter that will take you back to one of the ski resort’s heliport …
